Who is Karen Lafferty?
After Lafferty Electric was sold, Karen decided to pursue her professional passion: real estate. Having now been in the business for several years, this dedicated REALTOR® firmly believes that, just like in the entrepreneurial world, it’s critical for an agent to stay on top of their game in terms of market knowledge and industry education -- especially in such a dynamic economy. She explains that, when it comes to real estate, her interest runs the gamut from locating the perfect home for a buyer to finding the perfect buyer for a seller to securing the optimum financing. “The bottom line is that everyone needs an agent who can help them,” she says, adding, “And that’s exactly why I attend every available educational seminar and class to ensure that I am always up-to-date and prepared to take the best possible care of my clients.”
In keeping with her commitment to community awareness and involvement, Karen, who is a long time resident in Arcadia, is a Board member of the Arcadia Camelback Mountain Neighborhood Association. “I volunteered for the Association because I care so much about all Arcadia neighborhoods,” she says. “I am involved with anything that involves Arcadia and the Camelback Corridor community enhancement and safety.”
Coming from an Italian background, Karen takes great pleasure and pride in entertaining and cooking for her family and friends and specializes in making mouthwatering homemade jams and pies. Described by her peers as “friendly, fun-loving and very approachable,” she loves being in the mountains and traveling to areas where she can indulge one of her private passions: fly-fishing in high-country streams and lakes.
